Aidan McMahon – Founder and Managing Director
A graduate of the University of Limerick, Aidan holds a B Tech in Electronics Manufacturing and a Masters in Project Management, specialising in international projects.
Aidan has over 15 years’ experience in the electronics industry. Working for companies such as General Semiconductor in Cork and M/A-com, he has performed the roles of process engineer, manufacturing engineer, manufacturing manager and project manager. Specialising in global projects, Aidan has much experience in subcontractor management, specifically in the Far East, USA, China and the UK.
As co-founder and member of the management and investment team of Advanced Innovations, Aidan held the position of VP of Operations there, and spearheaded its transformation from a manufacturing organisation based in Ireland to an international supply chain service provider establishing global operations in China and the USA, as well as in Ireland.
As company founder, Aidan now leads the Gentian Services team as Managing Director.
Alan Keane – Director of Engineering and Operations
Alan is an engineering graduate of University of Limerick. With over fifteen years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, he has undertaken substantial roles in a number of Blue Chip, OEM and subcontract multinational companies in Ireland, including Dell, Flextronics and Motorola.
Alan’s areas of expertise are new product introduction and quality management – both supplier quality management and customer-facing quality management. During his accomplished career, Alan has held various senior engineering positions. His most recent position was that of quality manager in Sercom Solutions, an organisation that has shown a €150 million turnover and employs a workforce of 400. Alan has extensive experience in both implementing and maintaining quality systems, as well as managing multifunctional engineering, quality and manufacturing teams. He is Six-Sigma trained and certified.
Alan currently holds the position of Director of Engineering and Operations with Gentian Services.
