Aidan McMahon – Managing Director
Over more than 15 years in industry, Aidan has developed vast experience the delivery of complex projects, bringing efficiency, cost reduction and consistent quality to manufacturing and supply chain development.
During time at General Semiconductor and Tyco he brought his focus to roles in engineering and project management. Specialising in global projects, Aidan has developed huge experience in the effective development and management of supply chains with wide geographic and technical extent, bringing cost effective solutions to demanding customers. He has effectively managed subcontractors in the Far East, USA, Central America, China and Europe. This experience, and the network of contacts that accompany it, is key to Gentian Services capability – delivering cost effective, engineered supply chains to demanding markets.
As a co-founder of Advanced Innovations, Aidan held the position of VP of Operations, spearheading its transformation from a domestic manufacturing company to an international supply chain service provider establishing global operations in China, the USA and Ireland.
Aidan has a degree in Electronics Manufacturing and a Masters in Project Management, specialising in international projects.
Alan Keane – Director of Engineering and Operations
Over his fifteen years of experience in engineering and technology manufacturing, Alan has undertaken substantial roles in a number of Blue Chip, OEM and subcontract multinational companies including Dell, Flextronics and Motorola. Most recently, quality manager in Sercom Solutions, he helped the company grow to €150 million turnover, supplying into the highly demanding volume computing OEM market.
Alan’s expertise in new product introduction and quality management, coupled with his management of multifunctional engineering, quality and manufacturing teams has resulted in the introduction of numerous new products, in quality-critical markets.
His extensive experience in both implementing and maintaining quality systems is a cornerstone of Gentian Services’ commitment to quality– both supplier and customer-facing. He is Six-Sigma trained and certified and holds a degree in Engineering.
Bruce Ainsley – International Business Development
Bruce’s 20 year career in technology companies has brought wide ranging experience in the inception, development and introduction of new products and services for demanding technical markets. In a spread of Technical Director, Business Development and CEO positions he has developed an understanding of how to capture and satisfy the needs of demanding customers, providing high quality, high value, highly competitive solutions.
With a mix of high volume components and challenging instrumentation as his background, Bruce is able to bring a wealth of experience to bear on the supply of demanding products for the demanding medical, analysis and sensing markets.
Bruce has a Degree in Physics and an MSc in Optoelectronics.
